Working principle and process
The main process is “ion membrane electrolytic copper“. This process uses an ion membrane to separate the electrolytic cell’s anode area and cathode area into two independent areas.
The anode area is the waste etching solution regeneration area: it converts the monovalent copper ions in the waste etching solution after copper reduction into divalent copper ions through an electrochemical reaction so that the waste etching solution is regenerated.
The cathode area is the copper recovery area: the ions in the solution are selectively directed to migrate through the ion membrane, so that the copper ions in the solution are reduced to metallic copper by electrons.
