Multi-Deck Shaking Table

Multi-Deck Shaking Table

Feed density: 10–30%

Feeding size: 0.074 mm – 2 mm

Application Scenarios: This multi-deck shaking table is widely used for fine-grained gravity separation of tungsten, tin, gold, tantalum-niobium, and iron ores, as well as for the secondary recovery of residual valuable metals from tailings. It covers the entire particle size range of coarse sand, fine sand, and slime; it is an ideal solution for concentrators expanding production, facing space constraints, or seeking low-cost operations.

Introduction of Multi-Deck Shaking Table

The multi-deck shaking table is a high-efficiency gravity separation equipment designed for processing fine-grained minerals. Vertically stacking 2 or 4 independently operating decks minimizes the required footprint while exponentially increasing processing capacity. It effectively handles particle sizes ranging from 0.074 mm to 2 mm, covering coarse sand, fine sand, and slime fractions. It is particularly effective for recovering fine-grained minerals such as tantalum-niobium, tin, and tungsten. Compared to single-layer shaking tables, suspended multi-layer shaking tables can increase throughput by 3 to 4 times with the same floor space while reducing energy consumption, making them an ideal choice for improving the quality and efficiency of small-, medium-, and large-sized ore dressing plants. It is capable of independently performing roughing, cleaning, and scavenging operations, making it an economical choice for small and medium-sized processing plants looking to replace multiple single-deck shaking tables or undertake capacity expansion projects.

Highlights of the 2-4 Deck Shaking Table

  • Saves 4 times the space: One multi-layer machine has the production capacity of 4 single-layer shaking tables, making it especially suitable for the expansion needs of processing plants with limited space.
  • Low cost: A single motor drives multiple decks, reducing power consumption by 30% and labor requirements by 50%.
High recovery rate: Achieves over 90% recovery for fine-grained minerals (0.02–2 mm).
  • No chemical reagents: Uses purely physical separation; safe and eco-friendly, with recyclable process water.
  • Rapid ROI: Equipment costs can be recouped within 4–6 months.

Key Applications Of Multi-Deck Shaker Table

  • Tungsten Beneficiation: High-efficiency recovery of fine-grained tungsten (scheelite and wolframite).
  • Tin Recovery: Efficient recovery of cassiterite from both alluvial and hard-rock deposits.
  • Tantalum-Niobium Separation: Precision separation of rare metal minerals such as tantalite and columbite.
  • Gold Extraction: Recovery of fine gold from vein and alluvial deposits using eco-friendly, mercury-free processes.
  • Iron Ore Pre-concentration: Upgrading of low-grade ores such as hematite and magnetite.
  • Tailings Retreatment: Secondary recovery of residual valuable metals from legacy tailings ponds.

Structural & Principle Of Multi-deck shaking table

Working principle

The slurry is evenly distributed onto the decks of each layer via a feed distributor, and the decks undergo an asymmetric, reciprocating differential-speed motion driven by an eccentric connecting rod mechanism. Simultaneously, transverse wash water flows continuously across the decks; under the combined effects of gravitational settling, water flow momentum, and deck vibration, mineral particles are stratified according to density. High-density minerals settle into the riffle grooves and are propelled toward the concentrate discharge end by the differential motion. Low-density gangue is carried by the water flow toward the tailings discharge side, while middlings occupy the intermediate transition zone. Each layer operates with independent feeding and product collection without mutual interference, enabling the simultaneous production of concentrate, middlings, and tailings in a single separation pass.

Structural features

  • Vertical Deck Stacking: 2–6 decks share a single frame, maximizing space utilization.
  • Independent Feed System: Each deck features independent feed and discharge systems, ensuring no cross-interference.
  • Wire Rope Suspension: Eliminates the need for heavy foundations; suitable for installation on steel-structure floors with reduced vibration and noise.
  • Wear-Resistant FRP Deck: Acid-resistant, crack-resistant, lightweight, and durable.
  • Adjustable Stroke and Frequency: Stepless adjustment via an eccentric mechanism to suit various mineral particle sizes and densities.
  • Modular Quick-Assembly Design: Individual decks can be detached independently, facilitating quick and easy maintenance or replacement.

why choose JXSC Multi-deck shaking table

features & Advantages

Doubled Capacity: A single multi-deck shaking table processes 3–4 times the volume of a single-deck unit.

High Recovery Rate: Fine-particle recovery reaches 85%–95%.

Compact Layout: Requires only one-quarter of the plant footprint compared to single-deck setups, saving on infrastructure investment.

Low Energy Consumption: Shared drive system reduces energy and water consumption per ton of ore.

Precise Separation: Independent operation per deck ensures a high enrichment ratio and produces qualified concentrate in a single pass.

Zero Reagent Costs: Purely physical gravity separation; no chemical consumption.

Ease of Operation: Stroke, frequency, and water flow are intuitively adjustable; operable by 1–2 people without complex training.

Low Noise: Suspended structure eliminates vertical excitation forces and bouncing; minimal vibration allows for installation on upper floors.

Easy Maintenance: Modular design allows for individual deck replacement; simple drive mechanism and fewer wear parts minimize routine maintenance.

No Reagent Pollution: Purely physical separation with no chemical consumption; environmentally friendly and safe.

Excellent Cost-Performance: JXSC offers customizable 1/2/3/4 deck shaking tables at factory-direct prices, ensuring a rapid return on investment.
