The system operates based on a three-step process: “competitive ion displacement + electrolytic deposition + cyclic regeneration.”

  • Desorption: Within a high-temperature, high-pressure closed-loop system, a high-concentration NaOH eluent is introduced to the gold-loaded carbon. Utilizing the mechanism of competitive anion adsorption, Au(CN)₂⁻ gold complex ions adsorbed within the activated carbon pores are forcefully displaced and eluted, yielding a gold-rich pregnant solution.
  • Electrowinning stage: The precious liquid enters the pressurized electrolytic cell. Under the action of a DC electric field (voltage 2-4V, current 350-750A), gold ions gain electrons at the cathode and are reduced to metallic gold atoms, which are deposited on the cathode surface to form gold mud.
  • Circulation System: The barren solution and the stripped carbon are recycled via pump assemblies, thereby reducing energy and reagent consumption.
